The PyeongChang 2018 Winter Olympic campaign is a cohesive design that reflects the logo and the country. The logo derives from the yin yang shape in the South Korean flag that is blue and red and a ski jump structure at the Olympic training center for ski jumping in South Korea. The bold “Pyeong” is separated from “Chang” in order to emphasize and not confuse people with Pyongyang, North Korea. Maps designed as souvenirs show “Directions to Alpensia Sliding Center” from the airports and the “Alpensia Sliding Center Walking Map” and are printed two-sided in a light blue and gray color scheme to help visitors and the global audience who are planning to attend the PyeongChang 2018 Winter Olympics.
